First of all, it is our great honor and pleasure to invite you to 2020 International Congress of Diabetes and Metabolism (ICDM 2020) hosted by Korean Diabetes Association (KDA) on behalf of the organizing committee. This event will be held as a virtual congress from September 18 to 19 in 2020. The congress will be vivid as if you are in the actual location of the Congress and I wish you could grace us with your presence and support from home and abroad.

While COVID-19 is currently spreading around the world, we are grateful to your devotion and efforts on your clinical practice and research. With your health and safety in mind, the KDA has decided to hold the ICDM as a virtual congress. We promise that we will be able to discuss the latest knowledge and your valuable works in the research field of diabetes. We will also strongly encourage global communication by sharing our opinions at anytime and anywhere online.

Moreover, it has been 10 years since ICDM was established thanks to your great contribution to the improvement of the life with diabetes. Throughout that time, your meaningful and valuable participation has made ICDM what it is today and with your continued help, our future will be promising and bright. We would like to thank you for your dedication and, furthermore, have the honor once again with you successfully celebrating the 10th anniversary of ICDM.

ICDM will take the lead as a stepping stone on spreading your wings as the world's best academic congress in our field.
